Bridge to the Future of Natural Gas ‘INGAS 2017’
Having assumed the position of the ‘pivotal country’ in global energy markets, Turkey continues to reinforce its position with completed and continuing major projects. At İGDAŞ, we contribute to this process with this year’s INGAS, the 7th in the series, bringing together leading representatives of the sector from all around the world.
Energy, which is an ever more pressing and indispensable need, especially in the light of the developing technology, sees a substantial change today. I believe adaptation to that change, and even taking a central role in it, is a must for all actors of the energy sector.
The sector’s largest convention and trade show in Turkey, the ‘7th International Natural Gas Congress and Fair (INGAS 2017)’ will be held on 2-3 November 2017 with the theme of ‘Bridge to the Future of Natural Gas’ with a focus on change.
A bridge between Europe and Asia, our beautiful city Istanbul will host this great meeting, where Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Energy Market Regulatory Authority, the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul, and many more entities and organizations will support and stand by us. Many important experts, scholars, industry representatives, and executives from non-governmental and governmental organizations will share their expertise and experience with us. And perhaps, most crucially, new ideas will be presented.
I would like to thank you in advance everyone who had contributed and will contribute to this most important meeting, with their ideas and efforts. I hope that INGAS 2017 will be beneficial for our country, region, and the wider world, and offer you my affection and respect.
